"Tonight
Live" consists of a light box and fireworks. The light box
is installed in the public space and serves as
announcement board of an event.
Every night at the same time one firework is launched a kilometer away from the point where the light box stands.
If one conceives paradise as a spectacle, the work is itīs ironic celebration. It investigates the relationship between art work and the public by examining the balance between expectation, disappointment and enjoyment of the viewer.
